The Bovie IDS-310 generator works perfectly with both reusable and disposable pencil handles, needle electrodes (including Micro Onyx and Supercut), blade electrodes, LLETZ loops, and ball tips. It also synchronizes excellently with Smoke Shark II and III smoke evacuators for safe operation.
BOVIE BIPOLAR (BBP)
Bovie Bipolar is a pulsed coagulation for fast and powerful tissue coagulation. The intensity of the pulsing can be adjusted specifically to achieve optimal surgical effect.
INTUITIVE AUTO BIPOLAR TECHNOLOGY
Auto Bipolar provides instant and simplified tissue coagulation with minimal tissue damage. This function automatically activates, coagulates, and deactivates for precise tissue coagulation, eliminating the need for a footswitch. This function is compatible with micro, macro, and standard Bovie bipolar modes and can be adjusted according to surgical preferences for critical procedures.
SPECIALIZED LAPAROSCOPIC MODE
The IDS-310 remembers the last used power and mode. The user preset can store up to 10 presets and up to 6 bipolar output settings.
ADJUSTABLE POWER DURING ACTIVATION
During all activations, the power can be adjusted up or down in variable increments, giving surgeons more control in the operating field.
PATIENT SAFETY FUNCTIONS
BovieNEM™ - this quality control system for the return electrode contact is designed to minimize patient burns at the site of the return electrode placement. Bovie FDFS™ - tissue probing technology measures tissue 5 million times per second and adapts to varying impedance 5000 times per second for precise energy delivery. A visual ammeter displays the current (mA) flowing through the patient in real-time.
