This version contains all functions of the full geriatric care skills mannequin and additionally features auscultation:
- lung sounds at 5 anterior, 10 posterior, and 2 mid-axillary points,
- 6 anterior heart auscultation points.
Designed for Quality Elderly Care
Teri is designed to help staff provide the best care for the elderly. The mannequin has weighted, fully movable joints, simulating a 'fragile' patient, allowing for training in positioning and fall prevention. The appearance and feel are closely aligned with human anatomy.
Realistic Weight for Lifting and Transferring
The weight is distributed across the body to match that of a real patient — this allows for training in lifting, transferring, repositioning with proper biomechanics.
Soft Silicone Skin and Skin Care Training
The mannequin features soft silicone skin that looks and feels more natural, enhancing the realism of training sessions and helping to better understand the causes and care for skin tears.
For Emergency Pre-Hospital Situations
The mannequin can replicate a complete training experience: from intubation and ventilation training to auscultation of heart and lung sounds and resuscitation with a pulse on the carotid artery. Vital signs and monitoring signals can also be simulated (for higher configurations of the platform).
Daily Care Skills
Teri also covers key daily skills: bathing, hair care, denture care, hearing aid fitting, eye care, as well as stoma/catheter care.
