What is MARCH-X used for in tactical medicine
- MARCH-X is designed as a 'combat' simulator for scenarios where it is necessary to simultaneously practice:
- massive hemorrhage control (tourniquet/compression/tamponade + realistic bleeding),
- airway (maneuvers, airways, intubation, cricothyrotomy),
- respiration (BVM, occlusive dressings, bilateral decompression),
- evacuation/extraction and movement of the injured.
Realistic bleeding and control via HEMORRHAGE-X
- Wounds are connected by separate tubes for 'blood' delivery.
- 'Blood' can be pumped manually (squeeze bottle) or via the HEMORRHAGE-X pump.
- HEMORRHAGE-X3 (3 outputs) is included with MARCH-X.
- Bleeding control via app/web: arterial/venous, flow and pulse regulation, pressure sensors, 1 or 3 independent flows, remote control.

M — Massive Hemorrhage
- application of tourniquets to arms and legs (fully compatible)
- control of bleeding from connected wounds with realistic 'blood' delivery
A — Airway
- head tilt / chin lift / jaw thrust
- oxygen therapy (cannulas/masks, etc.)
- anatomy: tongue, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea
- OPA/NPA, LMA
- orotracheal/nasotracheal, fiberoptic intubation
- needle and surgical cricothyrotomy
R — Respiration
- BVM ventilation
- bilateral decompression of pneumothorax
- application of chest seal
Resuscitation
- anatomical landmarks for chest compressions, realistic resistance to compressions
Injuries (built-in wounds)
- chest/abdomen: entry gunshot
- right arm: entry/exit gunshot
- left arm: laceration
- right leg: entry/exit gunshot
- left leg: laceration
Durability and 'field' operation
- stainless steel frame and joints, thick durable silicone skin
- withstands falls from up to 3 m, resistant to rain/sand/dirt/stone/grass, heat/cold
