  • Airway management
  • Arrhythmia recognition
  • Defibrillation
  • ECG monitoring (4 points)
  • Manual pulse on the carotid artery
  • Electrostimulation (pacing)

The Life/form® Child CRiSis Starter Torso manikin can be fully upgraded to a complete PALS training simulator. It is designed to prepare students for the challenges they may face in real-life situations.

This airway management simulator is ideal for practicing skills on pediatric patients and represents the size of a five-year-old child. Intubation, ventilation, suctioning, resuscitation (CPR), and jaw thrust can be practiced. There is a manual pulse on the carotid artery.

Realistic anatomy and landmarks include teeth, tongue, oral and nasal pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false and true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, and stomach.

The simulator allows for practicing oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as the insertion of E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube®, and KING System devices. Separate lungs provide auscultation capability. An inflatable stomach balloon signals inadequate insertion into the esophagus.

With a slight forward position, the Life/form® Child CRiSis Starter Torso is ideal for ACLS training, preparing nurses, paramedics, and rescuers of all levels. The chest skin for defibrillation allows practicing defibrillation with standard manual, automatic, and semi-automatic defibrillators. The internal loading block absorbs the full force of the discharge, protecting students and equipment. There is also the option to monitor the manikin like a real patient. Compatibility with all standard types of defibrillators, monitors, and patient simulators.

The manikin has four ECG monitoring points and two defibrillation points. This torso is designed as a base for creating a complete Life/form® Child CRiSis manikin. Arms and legs can be added later for access to veins (IV), intraosseous infusions, and blood pressure monitoring.

If you do not have an ECG simulator and want to practice ECG recognition, you can add the Life/form® Interactive ECG Simulator (LF03670U). If advanced airway management is required, it is recommended to start with the Life/form® Advanced Child CPR/Airway Management Torso with defibrillation features (LF03763U).
