Purpose of this trainer in tactical medicine
In TCCC/TECC and the MARCH algorithm, block M (Massive Hemorrhage) is skill number 1. Packing a deep wound (especially in the shoulder girdle/axillary area) requires practice “to the point of automation.” SG-TR0391 is designed specifically for this: realistic anatomy + controlled bleeding + verification of correct pressure/packing.

- Simulation of massive hemorrhage through internal bleeding tubes
Wound design (important for realism)
- The trainer has two wounds with internal bleeding tubes.
- Manufacturer's clarification: three injuries — 2 small “through-and-through” gunshot wounds + 1 large internal cavity.
