The same 3-button pencil works both with an additional foot switch and without it. Just connect the additional foot switch, and you're ready to go! The Bovie foot switch is not only much more economical, but you also do not need to replace the tip as is done in competitors' devices. The user has full control, including turning the power on/off from the tip, as well as activation... compared to competitors, you have neither. This is not only more convenient for the user but also saves your money! THE CHOICE IS YOURS. The foot control handle and foot switch are sold separately and are necessary for foot control of ConMed®.

Additionally, the Hyfrecator settings are much more complicated. "Time is money," and the six cumbersome steps required to switch *Hyfrecator® 2000 from a 3-button tip to a foot control block can drain both of these valuable resources. Also, note that the 6 steps must be performed in reverse order to return to 3-button tip control.

3-BUTTON TIP BOVIE - BETTER IN DESIGN, INSIDE AND OUT

The A902 tip allows you to adjust the output power up and down, as well as activate the device even when you are in foot control mode. The tip features a 2-contact design (patent pending) for enhanced reliability compared to the old-fashioned wired tips used by competitors. Bovie Derm 942 has a technological advantage right in the tip: a well-constructed collet that is even gold-plated for excellent conductivity. The collet is attached to our printed circuit board, and the entire tip is encapsulated and formed from a high-tech polymer that combines comfort for you and a reliable grip.
