Life/form®** cervical dilation and effacement simulators provide a realistic simulation of cervical examination before childbirth. They are designed with maximum accuracy to ensure that visual and tactile sensations correspond to clinical practice and facilitate a smooth transition to working with patients.
The set consists of six individual pelvic blocks measuring 4 inches (W) x 4.25 inches (H) x 4.75 inches (D).
All six blocks have the same external appearance; however, the internal structure differs. The realistically conveyed internal texture, tissue density, and precise anatomical dimensions ensure maximum fidelity of the model.
The simulators represent six different cervical states before childbirth. The corresponding state is clearly indicated on the back of each block. Students will be able to identify the following stages by touch:
- No dilation
- 2 cm dilation
- 5 cm dilation
- 7 cm dilation
- 9 cm dilation
- Effacement
