Thanks to its multifunctionality, the surgical light Maquet PowerLED II is a universal choice for:
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery — provides ideal visibility of skin flaps and small capillaries.
- Cardiac surgery and orthopedics — ensures deep penetration of the light beam into narrow and deep surgical cavities.
- Endoscopy and laparoscopy — features a special ambient light mode for comfortable surgeon interaction with video monitors in a dimly lit environment.
Model PowerLED II is designed to meet the stringent requirements of modern operating rooms and offers unique solutions for the surgical team:
- Intelligent Shadow Management: the system automatically recognizes obstacles (such as the surgeon's head or hands) and instantly redistributes power among other LED modules. This allows for a stable level of illumination of the surgical field without changing the position of the dome.
- Natural Color Rendering and True Color: the lamp has a high color rendering index (CRI). It accurately reproduces shades of the red spectrum (R9), which is critically important for the correct differentiation of tissues, nerve endings, and blood vessels.
- Adaptive Color Temperature: the ability to choose the light mode (from warm white to cool) allows the surgeon to adjust the light to individual visual characteristics and the specifics of the current procedure.
- Antibacterial Coating: the surface of the dome and holders is treated with a special compound containing silver ions, which prevents the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms and facilitates the disinfection process.

The positioning assistance system facilitates the adjustment of the camera to the desired area and allows for detailed imaging of the narrow surgical field.
The "picture-in-picture" mode displays precise close-ups of the procedure on the full screen, while the inset shows an image with a wide field of view. This allows the staff to monitor the progress of the operation and optimize workflow while preparing the next patient.
- Clarity in all areas of the visual field: the e-pan/tilt function allows zooming in on any part of the image for detailed viewing. Thanks to UHD 4K resolution, images remain sharp even at 20x optical magnification.
- Intuitive Control: all parameters (zoom, focus, etc.) can be adjusted from the wall-mounted touchscreen.
- Optimization of hand-eye coordination: virtually zero latency ensures instant real-time response.
- Minimization of distractions: easily highlight the desired area of the 4K image without moving the camera.
- Leading Technical Specifications: resolution 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, 20x magnification, progressive signal 30 Hz.
- Intelligent Integration in the Operating Room: compatibility with operating room integration solutions
The quick-lock system allows for easy and fast connection and disconnection of accessories, such as HD cameras, without the use of special tools. This reduces setup time between procedures and allows for easy integration of accessories, ensuring their shared use in the operating room.
