Digihuman 3D Printing Model-Hand Arteries

Digihuman 3D Printing Model-Hand Arteries

The anatomical model of the arteries of the hand, printed from a solid material, accurately reproduces the branching and complex structure of small blood vessels based on high-precision digital anatomical data, serving as a valuable addition to traditional anatomical specimens.

Material: Rigid material
Data source: Digital model of the human body
The anatomical model of the arteries of the hand is created using three-dimensional scanning of actual anatomical samples of the arteries of the arm. It is a virtual reconstruction of the real anatomical structure and its physical copy.

The model clearly displays the branching and shape of small blood vessels, making it an effective complement to anatomical preparations.

Data sources

✔ Data source: Selected data from high-precision digital anatomical images, including:

  • Original serial sections
  • Advanced segmentation
  • Three-dimensional geometric models of organs (bones, muscles, vessels, nerves, ligaments)
✔ Voxel size: 0.0384 mm × 0.0384 mm × 0.1 mm
✔ For comparison and verification, human body preparations fixed in formalin are used

Model creation process

Image data is converted into voxel volumetric data
Surface information of each anatomical structure is extracted
A texture map of the three-dimensional model is generated to ensure maximum similarity to the actual anatomical sample
This model provides an accurate understanding of the structure of the arterial system of the hand, which is extremely useful in medical education and research.
