Material: soft and hard material
Data source: digital model of the human body
The brain model can be a full-color model made of soft material or a printed model that combines soft and hard materials. The surface structure of the brain in the soft-hard printed model is made from soft materials, while hard materials are added to the white fibers in the brainstem, thalamus, and large hemispheres. One hemisphere is displayed in its natural color, while the other is marked with different colors to indicate the functional areas of the brain. The grooves and folds on the surface of the brain are clearly visible, allowing for accurate identification of the anatomical features of the brain. The depth of the grooves corresponds to real-life, and the folds can be manually separated, enabling a detailed examination of their morphological features, including the deep insular part of the lateral sulcus. The external anatomical structure of the brain corresponds to real anatomical specimens and accurately conveys knowledge about the anatomy of the brain's surface.
3D printing
The selected full-color multi-material 3D printer uses 3D inkjet printing technology and light curing with 12 material channels for multi-material combined printing. The chosen 3D printer can perform 3D printing in various modes, such as single hard material, a combination of soft and hard material, as well as transparent wrapping material.
Full-color printing: multi-channel digital full-color 3D printing technology provides unique color customization capabilities for creating vibrant and detailed models.
Multi-material printing (with eco-friendly materials): from rubber-like to hard materials, from transparent to opaque, from colorless to colored, from standard materials to biocompatible materials. Various composite 3D printing solutions for printing complex surgical medical models for teaching anatomy, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, etc.
High-efficiency printing: up to 3840 piezoelectric nozzles and specialized algorithms ensure a printing speed of up to 4 liters per hour using high-frequency inkjet curing, complemented by efficient post-processing equipment for faster and more accurate printing without secondary curing.
