1. Preparation for work and attachment
Adjusting to fit: Before the first use, adjust the ring to the size of your head using the regulators. The fixation should occur at two points (forehead and occiput).
Comfort: Ensure that the ring fits snugly but does not press on the temples and head. With a weight of 104 g, the device should not cause discomfort.
2. Light and sensor control (Touch-free)
Automatic activation (FreeFace): To turn on the light, simply lower the optical block down (to the working position) in front of your eyes. To turn it off — lift it with one motion upwards. There is no need to remove the entire ring from your head.
Contactless sensor (Sensor): For quick on/off during procedures, wave your hand near the touch panel on the back of the ring. This allows you to maintain full hand sterility.
Brightness adjustment: Adjust the comfortable lighting level using the smooth brightness control. Do not use maximum power (100,000 Lux) unnecessarily to reduce eye strain and save battery life.
3. Working with batteries and charging
Timely replacement: The set includes 2 batteries. Always keep one battery on the charger base while working with the other.
Correct installation: Replace the battery with a light motion until it clicks. Do not apply excessive force.
Protection against complete discharge: Try not to leave batteries completely discharged for a long time to preserve their capacity (full charging time is about 90 minutes).
4. Using filters and additional lenses
Changing the light spectrum: If you need warmer or cooler light, install the appropriate color filter from the set on the LED blocks.
Optics/camera attachment: Binocular loupes (e.g., DKT-3 or DKT-4) or DK-CAM video camera are installed on special grooves of the optical block with one motion until fixed. Before starting work, check the reliability of their attachment.
5. Cleaning and disinfection
⚠️ Important: The device has electronic components, so it cannot be immersed in water or sterilized in an autoclave.
Cleaning the body: Wipe the plastic parts of the ring and the optical block with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a disinfectant solution (without aggressive acids or large amounts of alcohol that may damage the plastic).
Protective elements: Use the transparent protective caps for the LEDs included in the set. They protect the lenses from dust, splashes of water, or biological materials. If necessary, they can be removed and cleaned separately.
6. Storage and transportation
After the workday, lift the optical block upwards (turn off the device) and remove the battery.
Store the headlight and additional accessories in the branded transport case to protect against falls, moisture, and direct sunlight.
- Exceptional brightness: smooth adjustment of light output up to 100,000 lux ensures clear visibility of the surgical field.
- Shadowless technology: two light sources are positioned to minimize shadows from instruments or the surgeon's hands.
- Autonomy: up to 12 hours of continuous operation on a single charge (depending on the selected intensity).
- Lightweight: the device weighs only 154 grams, which is almost unnoticeable during work.
- Versatility: includes 3 interchangeable filters to adjust the light temperature to your needs.
