This advanced Life/form® airway management trainer is ideal for practicing skills on pediatric patients and is sized for a five-year-old child. Intubation, ventilation, aspiration, CPR, and jaw lift techniques are available for practice.
Realistic anatomy and landmarks include teeth, tongue, oral and nasal parts of the pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false and true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, and stomach.
The simulator allows for oral, digital, and nasal intubation practice, as well as the insertion of E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube®, and King System devices. Individual lungs can be connected for auscultation. Manual pulse on the carotid artery. An inflatable stomach balloon signals intubation in the esophagus. With a slightly anterior position, swollen tongue, and vocal cords, the Life/form® Advanced Child Airway Management Trainer is suitable for both beginner and advanced courses.
The Life/form® Advanced Child Airway Management Trainer allows for defibrillation practice using standard manual, automatic, or semi-automatic external defibrillators. The internal load block absorbs the force of each discharge to protect students and equipment.
The mannequin can be monitored like a real patient and is compatible with all standard types of defibrillators, monitors, and patient simulators.
Features include four ECG monitoring points and two points for defibrillation. This torso is designed as the base of the Life/form® Child CRiSis system. Arms and legs can be added later for access to veins (IV), intraosseous infusions, and blood pressure monitoring.
If you do not have an ECG simulator and wish to practice ECG recognition, the Life/form® Interactive ECG Simulator (L03670U) can be added.
