Braineyes TMS Navigation is a high-tech neuro-navigation system that allows the physician to see the patient's brain structures in real-time during transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

The Braineyes system addresses the main challenge of TMS — accuracy. Without navigation, the physician searches for the stimulation area (for example, for treating depression) using standard measurements with a ruler. Braineyes allows targeting the magnetic pulse directly at a specific anatomical area of the cerebral cortex based on the patient's individual MRI scan.

  • Optical infrared tracking: The system uses a special infrared camera and reflector sensors that are attached to the patient's head and the TMS coil. This ensures positioning accuracy of 1-2 mm.
  • 3D visualization based on MRI: The software uploads the patient's MRI scans (in DICOM format) and constructs a three-dimensional model of the brain. If an individual MRI is not available, the system can use an average (atlas) model.
  • Coordinate saving function (Repeatability): The system remembers the exact stimulation site. During the next visit (for example, a week later), you will be able to place the coil precisely at the same point, ensuring treatment course stability.
  • Accurate targeting (Targeting): Allows for clear localization of areas such as DLPFC (dorsolateral prefrontal cortex), motor cortex, or specific zones for treating OCD, pain, or rehabilitation after a stroke.
  • Real-time motion compensation: The system instantly responds to the slightest movements of the patient's head. The position of the coil relative to the brain is displayed on the screen, allowing the physician to adjust its placement without interrupting the session.
