Digihuman 3D Printing Model-Mid-Sagittal Section of the Skull

Digihuman 3D Printing Model-Mid-Sagittal Section of the Skull

The printed model of the midsagittal section of the skull accurately reproduces its internal and external anatomical features using high-precision digital anatomical data, serving as a realistic substitute for studying the anatomy of the skull.

Material: Rigid material

Data source: Digital model of the human body

The midsagittal section of the skull is a printed model of the midsagittal section of the skull that demonstrates the internal and external structure of the skull. This model has the same visual appearance and tactile sensations as a real midsagittal section of the skull. It can clearly demonstrate the internal and external anatomical features of the skull, such as bony protrusions on the outer wall of the bony nasal cavity, sinus openings, and other complex anatomical structures, and can be used as a substitute for the sagittal section of the skull.

Data sources

Data source: selected data from high-precision digital anatomical images, including original serial sections, advanced segmentation, and three-dimensional geometric models of organ structures, including anatomical structures such as bones, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and ligaments. The voxel size of this dataset is 0.0384 mm * 0.0384 mm * 0.1 mm. Simultaneously, samples of human bodies fixed in formalin are used for comparison and verification.

Model creation: voxels in the volumetric data on the surface of each anatomical structure are extracted from the original dataset of serial sections, and a texture map of the geometric model is generated to ensure that the appearance of the geometric model of each anatomical structure corresponds to the real anatomical specimen.
