This advanced Life/form® Airway Management Trainer is ideal for practicing skills on pediatric patients and is sized for a five-year-old child. Intubation, ventilation, aspiration, CPR, and jaw lift techniques are available for practice.
Realistic anatomy and landmarks include teeth, tongue, oral and nasal parts of the pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false and true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, and stomach.
The simulator allows for oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as the insertion of E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube®, and King System devices. Separate lungs can be used for auscultation. Manual pulse on the carotid artery. An inflated gastric balloon indicates incorrect tube placement in the esophagus. With a slightly anterior position, swollen tongue, and vocal cords, the Life/form® Advanced Child Airway Management Trainer is suitable for both basic and advanced courses.
The Life/form® Advanced Child Airway Management Trainer with chest skin allows for defibrillation practice using standard manual, automatic, or semi-automatic external defibrillators. The internal load block absorbs the force of each discharge, protecting students and equipment.
The manikin can be monitored like a real patient and is compatible with all standard types of defibrillators, monitors, and patient simulators. It has four points for ECG monitoring and two points for defibrillation.
This torso is designed as the foundation for the Life/form® Child CRiSis system. Arms and legs can be added later to provide access to veins (IV), intraosseous infusions, and blood pressure monitoring. Includes interactive ECG simulator (LF03670U) and universal defibrillation trainer (LF03740U).
