LINA Loops are innovative single-use instruments designed for the rapid and safe performance of laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH) and removal of subserosal myomas on a pedicle.
LINA Gold Loop™ is a safe and effective monopolar loop designed for precise tissue dissection.
- Visualization features: The loop has a special “gold” insulation that significantly enhances its visibility on the monitor during the procedure.
- Operating modes: Recommended generator settings for optimal performance: power 100–130 W in blend mode (Blend 1).
- Connection: Equipped with a 3-meter cable and available in two connection options: standard 3-pin monopolar plug or 8-mm connector.
LINA Bipolar Loop™ is an advanced system that utilizes bipolar technology to enhance patient safety.
- Safety and accuracy:
- Thanks to bipolar technology, the electric current flows only between the electrodes of the loop, eliminating the need for a neutral electrode (grounding pad) on the patient.
- The instrument is equipped with a protective ceramic tip. It not only helps to accurately position the loop but also, together with the gold insulation, localizes the action of the current, protecting surrounding tissues.
- Energy efficiency: Operates at significantly lower powers (55–70 W), while still providing a high cutting effect.
- Connection: Comes with a 3-meter cable with a 2-pin bipolar plug or European connector.
The main advantage of both systems is the ability to perform hysterectomy or myomectomy “in a matter of seconds,” combining incision and coagulation into one step. This allows for reduced operation time and leaves a clean hemostatic surface, minimizing the need for additional coagulation.
Both systems are compatible with standard electrosurgical generators, so there is no need to purchase specific equipment.
