Basic Billy was developed using the results of extensive research dedicated to the depth and force of compression during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Considering that heart failure is one of the leading causes of death, let Basic Billy demonstrate that it is not difficult to provide assistance and save lives with the correct heart massage and ventilation technique. Basic Billy is anatomically correct and hygienic to use. The head easily tilts to open the airway for artificial respiration mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-nose. Additionally, the chest rises when the lungs are ventilated. Ventilation using a mask is also possible, and Basic Billy comes with 10 lung bags and 2 additional face masks for hygiene purposes. Inexpensive disposable airways and a carrying bag ensure hygienic and easy maintenance of the mannequin.
What’s even better, Basic Billy is actually two mannequins in one, as it can be used as an adult or child (approximately 12 years old) for performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
